You can experiment with different blends immediately with its swappable bean hoppers. Its profiles let you take a step back from where you left off. Plus, it's less expensive than capsule machines and uses real coffee beans instead of pre-ground.
1. Smeg BCC02
This sleek compact and striking machine, created by Milan-based company Deep Design combines the brand's retro style with cutting edge technology. This machine handles all steps of the coffee-making procedure starting from grinding beans, tamping into a puck and texturing milk before dispensed the right volume.
The machine also features an attractive brushed aluminum front and comes in black, red or taupe, meaning it'll easily fit into the majority of kitchen designs. It's not without faults, however: most users found it to be a bit expensive for a bean to cup maker (and it's not equipped with an milk pitcher).
There were numerous glowing reviews about the machine's ease of use as well as the quality of its coffee. The digital display is intuitive and provides step-by-step guidance and feedback throughout the entire brewing process, helping you make your drink perfect each time. The machine even allows you to alter the size of the grind, in case that's not what you want. It's almost like having a personal home barista (minus Harry Potter's cloak of invisibility and Elon Musk's rocket-building abilities).
If you prefer milky drinks, this model features an adjustable steam wand upwards and downwards to fit most drinking vessels short of the Viking's drinking horn. We were also impressed by the speed and efficiency at the way that the frothing was performed. It produces an amazing, full-flavoured espresso with a wonderful crema.
The BCC02 is an excellent all-rounder. It's quiet and efficient, and it offers great value for money with its current price of PS499. The only issue is that it doesn't offer the same level customisation as other bean-to-cup machines we have examined. It has a pump that is 15 bars instead of the usual 19 bars. This isn't as good for producing high-quality espressos. This is a fantastic machine for those who prefer their coffee strong and dark. Click here to check out Lavazza's great deal.
2. Melitta Barista TS Smart
The Barista TS Smart has a range of characteristics that distinguish it from the rest of the competitors. Its most distinctive feature is that it can be controlled by your smartphone through the Melitta Connect app. This allows you to change the settings and then dispense different coffee recipes that are stored inside the machine.
This makes the machine very flexible and adaptable to your taste. There are a variety of options to change the intensity of your drink, cup sizes and even whether you'd like milk included. The machine has two airtight bean containers that are automatically sorted for different specialities. It is set to standard espresso beans in one, and cafe creme (a German variation of long black or flat white) in the other however, you can select whatever beans you like. There is also a chute for beans that are already ground if you prefer to use your own.
Users have also been impressed by the speed of the machine. They have reported that it can make their drinks faster than other machines they have used. The machine will also inform you when one of its hoppers are almost empty. This ensures that you don't run out of your preferred beverage.
The only thing that could be a problem for some people is the price tag. This machine is priced at PS999. But, it's cheaper than similar Jura machines with similar features.
Barista TS smart is protected by a generous two-year warranty. This is a greater warranty than the typical one-year warranty. It's a sign of confidence on behalf of the manufacturer. It also includes a cleaning tablet and a descaler, making it easy to stay on top of the machine's maintenance requirements. This is a fantastic machine for those who want to buy a high-quality, versatile bean to cup machine at a low cost.
3. Jura GIGA 6
The Jura GIGA 6 is a powerful espresso machine that uses artificial intelligence to make the best specialty coffees. It learns what you like and rearranges its menu to make it easier to select your preferred drinks. It also allows you to select the size of your preferred grind as well as the temperature of your water, the amount of foam in your coffee and milk. Its intelligent cleaning and rinsing programs begin at the push of the button, making daily maintenance of your coffee maker easier than ever before.
A unique feature of the Giga 6 is that it comes with two coffee and milk spouts, which means it can make two coffee specialty drinks at once. This is possible due to the dual fluid and heating systems inside the machine. The spouts are adjustable for height and width to accommodate different cups. Additionally, there is a spout for hot water which can be used to make tea or iced coffee.
Another impressive aspect of the Giga 6 is the ability to customize and duplicate your favourite coffees. This is especially beneficial for those who like having the same beverage in the morning and in the evening. For example, you can create an original flat white using regular beans and then make a duplicate using decaf. You can even choose to modify the ingredients, for example, the type of milk or the amount of sugar or cocoa.

Coffeee and Z10 offer a wide range of options for customization. To begin you can select from 28 one-touch specialty drinks. You can also alter the strength of coffee and select from a variety of levels for milk foam.
The GIGA 6 and Z10 come with a 4.3 inch touchscreen display with full-color and a rotary switch, making it easy to navigate the various features of the machines. The GIGA 6 is able to connect to your smartphone via WiFi. This will allow you to download a variety of apps that allow you to personalize your favorite drinks from home. The only downside to this machine is that a few users have reported issues with the drip tray leaking. If you encounter this problem be sure to notify the customer service department as soon as possible.
4. Nespresso Inissia
The Nespresso Inissia is a cost-effective and practical method for espresso and coffee lovers to enjoy their favorite café drinks at home. Its high-pressure pump and patented extraction system guarantees that each cup of coffee is rich, flavorful and silky smooth. The Inissia features an enormous capacity water tank that is quick to heat up, allowing users to brew several cups of coffee without having to refill it often.
The sleek and compact Inissia is one of the most space-saving pod machines available which is why it is ideal for kitchens with limited counter space. It is simple to use and set up, with minimal effort. Once the machine is fully charged, it is able to make the perfect cup of coffee in just 25 seconds, making it ideal for those who require an instant caffeine boost.
The Inissia also offers a variety of premium coffee capsules that will suit any taste - from robust and intense to light and fragrant. The machine is energy efficient and will shut off after nine minutes when not being used. It uses low amounts of electricity. Its versatile design also includes the ability to fold down the drip tray so that it can accommodate taller recipe glasses as well as an empty capsule container that can hold up to 11 used capsules.
To make a cup of coffee, simply insert capsules into the machine and press one of the two buttons to initiate the coffee brewing process. The Espresso button will dispens an espresso shot, while the Lungo will run a huge amount of water to create an espresso-like coffee. You can stop or pause the coffee brewing process at any point and, if you require more or less water you can alter the volume by using the control panel.
Another benefit of the Inissia is its ease of cleaning. Simply run a loop of water through the machine without capsules every day to rinse it and remove any remaining residue. It is recommended to cleanse the machine at least every three months to eliminate any calcium or lime deposits. To learn how to do this click here to view our video.
